Now in his 6th decade in the entertainment industry (hey, he started young) Blaine Hopkins is a writer, producer, and director with a proven track record.
From his start as a touring child magician & ventriloquist, he went on to attend the University of London, the University of Houston, ultimately graduating first in his class at NYU/Tisch Film school (with back-to-back Best Director awards).
After starting at ABC News in NYC, he went on to Executive Produce more than four dozen TV series as a partner at NorthSouth Productions, partnered with Hearst Entertainment.
His films have played at MoMA, Lincoln Center and the British Film Institute -- and he has been to more than 40 countries and all seven continents (along the way snagging the crown for Miss North Wales Millenia).
He is proudly represented this season by Company (revival; Katrina Lenk & Patti LuPone); Chicken & Biscuits (Norm Lewis & Michael Urie); and A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet.
Blaine is an enthusiastic Angel Circle supporter at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
